Perfect for a stay in the Wachau! Our apartment was right in the heart of Krems, in a building steeped in history, yet it was equipped with all modern amenities and furnished with exceptional taste. We especially loved the unusual maisonette-style layout with its raised sleeping area and the exposed wooden beams of the beautifully preserved roof structure. Before our arrival, we received an email with all the information we needed, including the code for self check-in, which made accessing the apartment incredibly easy. The hosts were very welcoming and always available whenever we had a question. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back soon!

This was our second stay at Smile Goldenen Hirschen in Krems. A beautiful historic building with plenty of old-world character, yet the rooms and suites are furnished to a very modern standard. The bathroom was excellent. An ideal base for cycling trips.
